Sault Ste. Marie, ON residents Mike and Jessica Nadjiwon, are mourning the demise of their beloved 7-year-old daughter who tragically died last week. 7-year-old Brook Nadjiwon died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 30th, 2024.

Who Was Brook Nadjiwon?

Brook Nadjiwon was the beloved daughter of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario residents Mike, and Jessica Nadjiwon. Brook was the younger sister of Heidi, and a caring nurturing big sister to Willa, Silas, and Flint.

Family Mourns Beautiful Daughter

Brook Nadjiwonwas is known for her beautiful smile and bright eyes. She had an infectious love for life and a great sense of humor. She loved playing the piano, animals, reading, four wheeling, onesie pajamas, her stuffy bunny “Hoppers”, growing plants, creating with Lego, and being outside on the farm with her family. Brook was a vivacious smiley girl who brightened our lives every day

GoFundMe Account

A GoFundMe Account has been created to help raise funds for Brookie’s funeral. “Because so many people have asked how they can help, we have decided to set up this fundraiser to go towards funeral costs for Brook Nadjiwon. Any amounts raised beyond funeral expenses will be directed toward the creation of the Brook Nadjiwon Memorial Fund at AlgomaTrad.ca, a registered charity on St. Joseph Island, to help other students discover and grow their love for music like Brook,” a message of the fundraiser page reads.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of life of Brook Nadjiwon will be held at the St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church (1589 Hilton Road) on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024. Visitation from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm, followed by the service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Musa Daba officiating. Interment following at Richards Landing Cemetery (10th Side Rd). Cookies and coffee will be served during the visitation. Donations may be made in Brook’s honor toward the Brook Nadjiwon Memorial Fund at AlgomaTrad.ca, a registered charity on St. Joseph Island, (payable by cheque or online) that will help other students discover and grow their love for music like Brook had.
