Collin Zavoda Death: Bridgewater Township, New Jersey resident and student at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School has tragically died. Collin Zavoda passed away from an apparent suicide that week. Collin Zavoda was a son, a brother, a teammate, and a resilient young man who just wanted to live and be happy.

“Our hearts are broken as we share the sudden and unexpected loss of Collin, a beloved son, brother, friend, and teammate. Collin was a bright light in our community, known for his infectious smile, friendly spirit, and unwavering enthusiasm,” a message from a family friend reads.

Who Was Collin Zavoda?

Collin was an active Boy Scouts member, thriving on adventures and camaraderie. He also loved the thrill of competition, playing youth hockey with the Protec Ducks, Protec Predators, Hunterdon Bears, and the Bridgewater Raritan High School Panthers. In the past year, he also took on the challenge of becoming a youth referee, giving back to the hockey community. Whether on the ice or off, Collin always had a kind word and a positive attitude, making everyone around him feel welcome and included.
