Hannah Shaffer Death: 15-year-old Carlisle High School student Hannah Shaffer has been identified as the victim who died in a late-night Warren County crash on Sunday. The 9th Grader was pronounced dead at a Des Moines hospital. Law enforcement agencies were called to the scene of a car accident on 200t Avenue in Carlisle.

Who Was Killed In Carlisle Crash Last Night?

Accordig to law enforcement agencies, the victim who died in the crash is 15-year-old Hannah Shaffer. She was an athletic student at Carlisle High School. Se was te grannddaugter of Andrea Milbourn. Hannah Shaffer was a dedicated student and a great teammate. She participated in the school’s varsity games. The baseball and softball games were postponed after the school board meeting.

Police Investigations

Law enforcement agencies laws say a Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on 200th Avenue in Warren County. The vehicle veered off the road and entered into a ditch on the intersection of 200th and Delaware Avenue. The vehicle somersaulted and ejected two of the three occupants. Iowa State Patrol said one 15-year-old and a 16-year-old, were taken by ambulance to a local hospital and one 15-year-old was airlifted to a Des Moines area hospital where she passed away.

The department is still investigating the accident. Hannah Shaffer’s obituary ad funeral will be released by the family.
