Tributes

“Jim was an insurance guy whose passion was to help the community whenever he could. Either through fundraiser concerts with Vic Ferrari and Michael Bailey or by asking people to donate tons of food to food pantries during the holidays. I think he ran a lot through the filter of “What can we do to help people around here?” He will be deeply missed by the many who had the good fortune to meet him, work with him..and help him.”

Jim Nick did a lot for local dogs and the community

Jim Nick was the reason I connected with SO many people (literally dozens) from the Wausau and central Wisconsin area, Anne Dreier Jackson wrote. Many years ago, he started sharing my posts and social media did its magic. As a result, I have dozens and dozens of adopters (and now good friends) in this area of Wisconsin. In addition, he was always the first to donate to Chica’s Rescue’s fundraisers (and always the biggest donor). Puerto Rico can thank this man for having SO many dogs adopted because he took the time to share my posts.
