Linda Griffiths Utah Death: Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has died

Linda Griffiths Utah Death: Linda Griffiths of Las Vegas, NV has died. Linda died peacefully on June 15, 2024 at the age of 77 in Ogden, Utah. Linda is preceded in death by her father and mother, Lowell and Helen Griffiths and her brother-in-law, Roger Thompson. She is survived by her brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Who Was Linda Griffiths?

Linda Griffiths was born to Lowell and Helen Griffith. She was the oldest of seven Griffiths children, Tamara (Roger) Thompson, Calvin (Buff), David (Jan), Chad (Jennifer), Marta (Joe) Herbert and Rex (Ossie). She lived her younger years at the American Fork Training School, she later moved to a group home setting with Turn Community Service.

Linda’s love for holidays and special occasions was unrivaled, especially Christmas and her birthday, you could always count on her to bring the napkins and root beer. Her favorite line was “Do you have my present?” Linda’s laugh was unforgettable, she was the life of the party. As much as she enjoyed being with family she loved her staff and was always ready to go back to her own home so she could look forward to what ever holiday was next!

Linda had an unwavering commitment to her family and her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a true disciple and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her ability to love was unconditional. She was a daughter of God who found joy in the simplest things. She was never married, but she was a loving aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews, whom she fondly referred to as her kids.

Funeral Services

Services will be held for Linda on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Shadow Valley Ward, 5191 Old Post Road, Ogden, UT 84403 at 11 AM. A viewing will be held prior from 10 -10:45 am at the same church building. Interment will be at the Clarkston City Cemetery.
