Lori Placha Zambotti died from severe pneumonia complications. She was born March 16,1960 in Ford City, PA and grew up the oldest of three daughters of Barb and Leo Placha. Lori attended Ford City High School and the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Her love, kindness, and endless generosity touched countless lives and made her an amazing wife, mother, and friend. Lori enjoyed traveling to many unique destinations, celebrating every season of life, and spending quality time with her much loved children, family, friends, and grand dog Lucy.

Lori was survived by her parents, her beloved husband, Les Zambotti; daughters, Katie Zambotti of Palm Bay, FL and Sarah (Devan Nusse) Zambotti of Cranberry; father-in-law Fredrick Zambotti, Sr. of Kittanning; sisters, Linda Placha of Palm Harbor, FL and Leeann (Jerry) Myers of Ford City; nieces and nephews, Mel Whitehead, Elizabeth Wegner, Josh Myers, Rachel Myers, Scott Zambotti, Brett Zambotti, and Matt Zambotti, along with their spouses and children.
Funeral Arragements
Per family wishes, visitation will be private. A public Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 18,2024 at 11 A.M. in Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Eric Dinga as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kittanning Cemetery.
