Tributes

”It’s been a tough month for Station 331. First Paul Manning and now today Sean Coles lost his courageous battle with job related cancer. Worked almost 20 years with Colesy, we were opposite shifts but always shared a conversation at shift change about technical rescue (we did many ropes instructors courses together) and hockey and family. He was a great guy with a wonderful family and he’s gone way WAY too soon. Fuck cancer. Way to fight the good fight, Colesy. Rest in peace, brother.” Chris

”I was going to remove the shrouded Firefighter logo as my profile pic after we said goodbye to Paul Manning on Tuesday. Unfortunately, it has to stay as yesterday we lost another fine young Brother, Sean Coles, at the age of 50 from an occupational cancer. My sincerest condolences to Seans Dad, Brian ( a retired Toronto Firefighter), Family friends and Colleagues. You fought valliantly until the end Sean but now it’s time to rest easy as the battle is over. Not to be forgotten. Forever young.” Flockhart

”On behalf of the Trenton Golden Hawks, we would like to pass on condolences to the family of Sean Coles. Sean was a great man, a longtime OJHL referee, and a Toronto Fire Fighter.
Colesy, our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I am definitely gonna miss our between periods chats.” Sippers
